Penny is a local-only expense log. Your data stays on your device.

What Penny stores

Every expense you log is stored on your device only, in a local SwiftData database. Penny has no server component and no cloud storage.

What Penny collects

Nothing. Penny collects zero personal data:

• No analytics or usage tracking of any kind
• No advertising and no ad SDKs
• No third-party SDKs
• No account, login, or sign-up
• Nothing is transmitted to any server — there is no network call to send your data anywhere

Sharing

Because no data ever leaves your device, there is nothing for us to share, sell, or disclose to anyone.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all of your expense data from your device. You can also remove individual entries inside the app.
