Tell Penny

The fastest way to log what you spend. Type a sentence — Penny works out the amount and the category, and adds it to today's log.

What it does

• One-line capture. No forms, no category pickers. Type what you bought the way you'd say it and Penny parses the amount from the end of the sentence.
• Instant transcript. Every entry lands as a timestamped line in today's log, so you can see the day as it happened.
• Daily total with a sparkline. A large "spent today" figure backed by an intraday sparkline that shows when your money actually went out, plus the month-to-date total.
• 100% local and private. Every expense lives in a local SwiftData database on your device. No account, no login, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs, and nothing transmitted to any server.

Keeping it honest

There is no backend and there is no sync, so there is also nothing to sign up for. Deleting the app deletes your data, because your data was never anywhere else.
